Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is one of the most advanced diagnostic imaging tools for today's physicians. Setting new standards in image quality and highly developed imagining capabilities, Shore Memorial Hospital uses a 1.5 Tesla magnet, short-bore, Siemens Sympony MRI system. The 1.5 magnet is considered the gold standard for MRI services.

For the overall comfort of the patient, Shore Memorial's MRI suite offers music, headphones and special lighting providing a soothing setting for technologically sophisticated studies; including orthopedic imaging, brain studies and all aspects of spinal imaging.
