Albert L. Gutierrez

FACHE, MBA, RT(R), President & Chief Executive Officer, Shore Memorial Hospital

Mr. Gutierrez attended the Hudson Area School of Radiologic Technology, 1974 to 1976. Upon graduation he received the School's Technical Achievement Award. In 1990, he earned a BS with a concentration in Radiologic Science, from Edison State College, and is a graduate of the May 1996 Executive MBA Program at St. Joseph’s University.

He has served in the role of Special Procedures Technologist, Quality Control Technologist, Assistant Chief Technologist and Chief Radiologic Technologist during employment at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, New York, New York, Hospital Center at Orange, Orange, New Jersey, Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, New York, and Beth Israel Hospital in Passaic, New Jersey.

Mr. Gutierrez began his employment at Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Point, New Jersey in 1985 when he was appointed Administrative Director of Radiology. In 1992, he was appointed Administrative Director of Professional Services, CQI, and Regulatory Affairs. In 1995, he was appointed Vice President of Professional Services, and held that position until August 2002, at which time he was appointed President and CEO of Shore Memorial Hospital.

He is licensed by the American Registry of Radiology Technology, New York State Diagnostic Radiology, New Jersey State Diagnostic Radiology, and New Jersey State Radiation Therapy.

He is a member of the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners for Radiologic Technology, Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, and, VHA Senior Management Council.
